Hi. Not sure why you're here - not much to see.

Why the horrible black background? The Australian Government are not acting in it's citizens best interest. They're moving to mandatory filter what citizens are allowed to see, promoting it under the guise of protecting children. It's *exactly* like what repressed countries do - and is irresponsible on a global scale. They answer 'protecting children' not with trying to actually tackle abuse as part of an international community, but with covering the eyes of their citizens - which can't be good for our future. Check out http://www.internetblackout.com.au/ and read a bit on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_censorship#Pervasive

Perhaps you're bored? If programming is fun for you, maybe read 'Programmers at Work' - some chapters are available at http://programmersatwork.wordpress.com/ - Susan Lammers and team deserve praise for the work put into the interviews (I use http://www.abebooks.com for out-of-print books). A recent book 'Coders at Work' is meant to be doing a similar range of interviews; the book seems to be getting good reviews, though I haven't read it.

Take a look at http://www.norvig.com - AI/Google guy - that python spell checker is quite nice. I like reading code that is powerful without being monolithic. If you like reading discussions on code, check out the book 'Beautiful Code'.

Paul Graham's website http://www.paulgraham.com/ is also worth a peek. After spending years reading ugly programming books (I've read too many learning-the-language books), it's nice to listen to other programmers talk about random interests.

I'm also reading 'Practical Common Lisp' on Safari Books Online at the moment (available here too http://www.gigamonkeys.com/book/ ). Interesting read. I think programming gets a tad easier the more languages you've been exposed to; I was expecting to be reminded more of Haskell than I have been. Oh, and Safari Books in their 6th site revamp now allow full screen reading, hurrah!
